Fixed mining truck is a major transportation equipment for transporting coal and gangue on the ground and underground tunnels in coal mines. It is also a short distance transportation equipment for transporting materials such as sand and stones in other non-metallic ore, bridge, railway engineering, transportation and excavation projects.

The fixed type mining car box is fixedly connected to the frame, and the mining car must be overturned and unloaded using a dump truck. Its basic components are the carriage, frame, buffer, coupler, and walking mechanism. The frame is a metal structure that can withstand traction force, braking force, collision force between mining cars, and rail impact force. Buffer devices are installed at both ends of the frame to alleviate the impact force between the two cars. Couplings are components that connect locomotives and mining cars. Commonly used ones include locking chain links and rotating chains. Large mining cars use automatic couplers that also serve as buffers. The walking mechanism consists of two wheelsets consisting of four wheels and two axles. When the total amount of mining cars and materials exceeds 20 tons, the number of wheelsets should generally be increased. For mining cars with more than two wheelsets, in order to facilitate the combination of the two wheelsets into a small car with a turntable through bends, this type of car is called a bogie.
